What if you want to show photos and travel routes to your friends? You can do it now by downloading Panoramio app from App Store and uploading your photos directly from your iPhone. It would be the easiest way track your trips and organize photos with tags and also with geoposition.

You can share photos of places with the rest of the world via Google Maps and Google Earth. It’s a simple step to do in the app: open an account, which is anyway free with 2GB photos storage, sign in (only the first time as it remembers you), pick a photo from your device or take a new photo, and upload it straight to Panoramio. If available, the geoposition will be automatically set, and you can optionally add a title to the photo.

This is the first time Google’s Panoramio team released an app for iPhone and work is underway for Android app too.

Panoramio is a free app and compatible with iPhone. It requires iPhone OS 3.0 or later.
