How many of you keep forgetting your family members or friends birthdays every year and embarrassed of your forgetfulness? If you are one of them and you don’t want to be one of them from this year, you might want to have a look at a new app More Birthdays from American Cancer Society, which is available for free in App Store. ACS released this app to help you keep track of all the upcoming birthdays of your friends, family, and contacts, using Push Alerts to send you either weekly or daily reminders.

Just a simple and intuitive interface greets you with upcoming birthdays of your contacts when you open this app. Also, you can see beautifully animated candles on a birthday cake that shows your age that you set when login first time into this app. Yeah, you will have to enter your name, email and birthday at the first time and it will pull all the contacts from your iPhone’s contacts and displays the upcoming birthdays. If you want, you can set push notification alerts weekly or daily to remind you of your near-and-dears.

If you don’t know your friends or contacts birthday and you want to surprise them on their birthday, all you have to do is import their birthdays from your Facebook by logging into your Facebook account from the app and all those friends birthdays will be pulled into this app. That’s all! Surprise them by clicking “send cake” button from the in-app email feature and it sends them an email with a beautiful happy birthday cake picture.

More Birthdays app is funny when it let’s you blow out the candles on your cake by turning phone to landscape mode. At the same time, it also turns out to be meaningful app that gives you an opportunity to donate to ACS More Birthdays and gets people involved in the American Cancer Society’s More Birthdays movement.
