WordPress 2 Update Fine-Tunes The Blogger’s Best Tool

Though the original WordPress app was very bland for the avid bloggers on the go, the dramatically improved WordPress 2 app won the users heart with ease of use interface and other much-loved features. After a month of its realease and 55,000 downloads on iPhone and iPod touch devices, they didn’t stop there. Today, an update has been released for the WordPress 2 in App Store with some tweaks in its features. It fine-tunes the well-acclaimed app to enable the satisfied-users to enjoy more blogging on the go.

With this new version, you can delete a post or page with a swipe across the title, can see the commenter’s email addresses and it supports HTTP authentication for protected hosted blogs. Also there are some bug fixes.

New in this version:

1. A post or page can be deleted by swiping across its title in the Posts or Pages list
2. Commenter email addresses are now visible
3. The app now supports HTTP authentication for password protected self-hosted blogs
4. Fix for link helper not working in mid-sentence
5. Fix for lost content after changing status of post containing a <!– more–> tag
6. Fix for visual glitch with buttons in Comments section
7. Fix for problem recognizing valid URLs during set up
