Now You Can Use Your i To Hear, Why Use Your Dictaphone?

Announcing a brand new iPhone app that turns dictation into text – fast!

Leading dictation transcription company d2u has launched a ground-breaking iPhone application.

The iPhone app, called d2u, enables users to dictate notes directly into their phone and to transfer them to d2u’s servers, eliminating the need for a digital recorder such as a Dictaphone. The audio file is then typed and returned to the customer, normally within one hour, as a Word document.

The app is free to download and customers are charged a fee per recorded minute for the transcription from audio to text.

d2u CEO Daryl Leigh is delighted with the application and believes that it will accelerate the growth of the Manchester based business, whose clients include professionals from the fields of business, construction, education, finance;    government, the law, media, medical and the public sector, as well as business people and even students. ‘The d2u app makes it more convenient than ever before for iPhone users to access our fast, accurate and value-for-money transcription service’, Mr. Leigh said.

‘Customers using the iPhone app can expect the same exceptional service, which is the basis of our success, as our ‘conventional’ customers’, he said. ‘The new service will benefit from our industry leading offer which includes full data protection, security and confidentiality as well as speed and accuracy.’

The d2u app is available for free download at the iPhone Apps Store right now.
