Riff Raters combines the fun of playing and listening to music into one cool app. Riff Raters gives anyone the ability to express their music creatively and get feedback from others. The functionality of the app is very simple… Riff. Record. Rate. All music lovers welcome, even if you don’t play an instrument you can listen and rate the riffs and help the best ones get to the Top 25.
There are 5 reasons why Riff Raters is a unique app:
- It is community and participation driven. We have thousands of users or “riffers” recording riffs into the iPhone/iPod Touch. The riffers listen and rate each other’s riffs, making comments and interacting with one another.
- It gives musicians a way to be heard and spread their music. If you like a riff, you can become a fan of the riffer and link to their website, Facebook page, Twitter and MySpace accounts to listen, purchase or just get to know the riffer.
- You get notification of new riffs and location of the riffer. If you are a fan of a riffer, you will be notified if the riffer uploads a new riff. You can look at a map and see the location of where the riff was created.
- Riff Raters was on the Apple’s “What’s Hot” list for 2 weeks in December 2009.
Riff Raters is donating 5% of its proceeds to a non-profit music camp for teenagers.

Hello. This is kind of an “unconventional” question , but have other visitors asked you how get the menu bar to look like you’ve got it? I also have a blog and am really looking to alter around the theme, however am scared to death to mess with it for fear of the search engines punishing me. I am very new to all of this …so i am just not positive exactly how to try to to it all yet. I’ll just keep working on it one day at a time Thanks for any help you can offer here.
