The Anicon Series Debuts with 3 Titles!

Minato-ku, Tokyo- Jan. 20, 2010 – Make ordinary email fun with Anicons, the latest app for iPhone/iPod touch from Hudson Soft Co., Ltd (“Hudson”).   Anicons can be downloaded for $1.99 on the iPhone/iPod touch worldwide (except Japan) on Jan 22, 2010.

Also, as an extended version of this application, the “Anicons Valentine’s Day” pack will also be released, which includes a Valentine’s Day theme, available for $0.99 including tax. The “Anicons For Starters” pack will also be available with limited edition icons for free! The core Anicons app is not needed to enjoy these themed packs.

Anicons is a simple mail application for sending decorated e-mails to other iPhone or iPod touch users. Now available for the first time outside of Japan, Anicons features an easy-to-use interface; just start-up the application and you’ll be ready to send customized decorated e-mails. Up to 500 items of animated icons and templates can be used as greeting cards are included in Anicons to help enrich your writing expressions. Additional icon packs will be released on a monthly basis to deliver more excitement. The camera app is also supported to allow simple MMS mail as well.

The greatest feature of this application will not only be the additional assets, but also the extended applications like “Anicons Valentine’s Day” and “Anicons For Starters” that are planned to launch every month. This extended application will limit the items and focus on the themed assets. Each application provides the user with a robust package, but the assets in the extended application can be transferred to Anicons to make it one big application.
