Linkie – A Bit.ly app for iPhone and iPod Touch (Free Promo Codes)

VIVIDNOISE RELEASES LINKIE 1.0 FOR IPHONE/IPOD TOUCH
Bit.ly Client Now Available in Apple’s App Store

Vividnoise has launched its first application, Linkie, and is available exclusively for iPhone and iPod Touch. Linkie is a tool for shortening, sharing, and tracking URLs created using the Bit.ly URL shortening service.

In Linkie, users can synchronize their Bit.ly or j.mp accounts directly to their iPhone or iPod Touch, enabling them to access the statistics of their shortened URLs on the go. “Linkie is the first application of kind to offer account synchronization.” said Neil Cowburn, founder of Vividnoise.

“I’m extremely pleased with Linkie. I know that people will find is convenient to use and visually pleasing, ” said Cowburn. “With a crisp and clear user interface, Linkie is a great way to track your links on the iPhone. Users can quickly gain an overview on the click-through rate for their shortened URLs. They can also dive deeper and quickly see other sites and services are linking to a particular URL. ” The application also enables users to share their statistics with friends or colleagues via email. “Users can also shortened URLs with Linkie and they will be immediately reflected in their account on the Bit.ly website.”

Synchronization. Linkie is the first iPhone application to synchronize with the userʼs Bit.ly or j.mp account. Shortened URLs are displayed with the page title of the URL and number of clicks each shortened URL has received. The data is cached locally on the iPhone so users can access it when they are offline. Only the last 15 links shortened with Bit.ly are synchronized. This is limited by Bit.ly and is the number of items Bit.ly makes available through the userʼs history feed.

Track your links. With a crisp and clear user interface, Linkie is a great way to track your links on the iPhone. Users can view a report detailing the click-through rate for their shortened URL as well as the total number of clicks for the target URL across all Bit.ly accounts. The report also provides information of the referral data for both the user-generated URL and the entire Bit.ly community. Users have the ability to hide the referral information from all Bit.ly users through a option in the Settings.

Shortening made easy. Copy a URL to the pasteboard from any application and shorten it with Linkie with no need to paste the URL. Linkie automatically adds the URL to the userʼs Bit.ly account and copies the short URL to the pasteboard ready for the user to paste into any application on their iPhone. if the user has a Bitly Pro account, the shortened URL will use their custom domain name.

Export and share your data. Linkie provides a way for users to export and share their referral data. Users can email a report of the click-through and referral data to friends and colleagues, or to themselves, directly from the application. Users can also copy the short and long URLs to the pasteboard so they can easily use them in another application.

Multiple accounts and Bitly Pro support. Linkie makes tracking multiple Bit.ly accounts quick and easy. Linkie also supports Bitly Pro accounts. No special configuration is required. It just works.

Linkie is now available for $1.99 in the U.S. and is priced accordingly in other regions. Linkie is available world-wide from Apple’s App Store for iPhone and iPod Touch, or by visiting http://vividnoise.com/linkie/

  1. That is getting a bit more subjective, but I a lot choose the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colourful, has extra aptitude, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that allow you to quickly see associated albums, songs, or different customers associated to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will heart on that item, and one other set of “neighbors” will.come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by related artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” can be great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and b.coming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created primarily based on an amalgamation of what all your folks are listening to, which can be enjoyable. These concerned with privacy will probably be relieved to know you may forestall the general public from seeing your private listening habits should you so choose.

  2. Someone I work with visits your blog regularly and recommended it to me to read too. The writing style is superior and the content is interesting. Thanks for the insight you provide the readers!
